Midwest Energy Emissions Corp. Adds Choice Financial Group CEO Brian Johnson to Board of Directors
WORTHINGTON, OH -- (Marketwired) -- 12/03/14 -- Midwest Energy Emissions Corp (OTCQB: MEEC) today announced that Brian Johnson has been added to its Board of Directors. Since February 2011, Mr. Johnson has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Choice Financial Group, a $900 million locally owned community bank with 15 locations in North Dakota and Minnesota. In addition, he has served on various boards including Chamber of Commerce of Grand Forks - East Grand Forks, ND and Grand Forks Region Economic Development Corporation. In March 2011, the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis named Mr. Johnson to its Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council (Ninth District) ("CDIAC"). In 2013, he was named Chairman of the Board of CDIAC which meets semi-annually with the Federal Reserve Board of Governors on economic and banking issues.
