Midwest Energy Emissions Corp. Appoints Marcum LLP as Independent Auditor

(OTCQB: MEEC) ("ME2C" or the "Company"), a leader in mercury emissions control in North America, today announced that it has appointed Marcum LLP ("Marcum") as its new independent registered public accounting firm, effective immediately. Marcum replaces Schneider Downs & Co., Inc. (“SD”). There were no disagreements between the Company and SD on any matter of accounting principles or practices, financial statement disclosure, or auditing scope or procedure.
